Product Questions

1. If the Air Button becomes stuck, or retracts slowly to its initial position, there may be excessive air accumulation within the hose.

To correct the problem, locate the air hose/tubing beneath the tub and disconnect it from either end to discharge the air lock. Reconnect from the pump/blower or air button side and then reconnect to retry.

2. The hose may have a kink or is bent. Verify whether these obstructions are preventing the air from flowing easily.

3. There may be foreign debris that is clogging the air flow. Unplug the hose/tubing from the base of the Air Button and gently blow into it. Reconnect and retry.

4. If the system still fails to start, either the Air Button or Pump/Blower is defective and should be replaced. For both cases, contact your distributor or original place of purchase for the procedure of how to have the defective part replaced.
  1. All Air Blower-equipped tubs perform an automatic dry cycle for a short time following its normal cycle. This will purge out any residual moisture in the air system, making the system fresh and ready for the next bath. This purging process lasts approximately 2 minutes and is normal.
  2. Note that if there is a power outage, this purge cycle could be activated.
  3. If the system is equipped with a water detector, the purge cycle may start any time water comes in contact with the bathtub (including but not limited to showers, routine cleaning, etc.).
  4. If the dry cycle occurs when the system is not in use, the keypad or control box could be defective. Contact your distributor or original place of purchase for the procedure of how to have the defective part replaced.
Verify whether the hose fells warm.
  1. If the air hose feels warm, the cool sensation is normal and something that happens periodically due to the scientific theory that air blown onto wet skin will apparently seem cool. For example, warm air that is discharged from a hand dryer will seem cool to the hands if they are wet.
  2. If the hose is not warm, the blower heater may be defective. Contact your distributor or original place of purchase for the procedure of how to have the blower replaced.
