The Command Water System controls a single-speed Pump and colored LED Light(s). The system may optionally include
conductive water level sensing. The user interface is four buttons with an LED light over each button.
System Functions
Upon power up of the system without user intervention, the display will enter the standby mode of the configuration previously set. In standby mode:
♦ Without conductive water sensing, the user can operate the water pump. The LED above the “Jets” icon will light dimly to indicate that the pump is operable.
♦ With conductive water sensing, the water pump will not be operable until water is sensed. Upon completion of the water sensing, the LED above the “Jets” icon will light dimly to indicate that the pump is operable.
♦ The user can operate the color LED light(s). The LED above the “Light” icon will light dimly to indicate that the light(s) is operable.
TIMERS
When the “Jets” icon button is active (indicated by the LED above the button lighting dimly) pressing and releasing the button will turn on the pump and start a 20-minute run timer. Pressing and releasing the “Jets” icon button a second time during the 20-minute run time will turn off the pump and cancel the timer. If the 20-minute run time expires, the pump and light(s) will turn off. If the pump is turned off by the user before the 20-minute timer expires, the light(s) will continue operating.
WATER SENSING (Optional)
When water is sensed by the circuit for 5 continuous seconds the “Jets” icon button will become active (indicated by the LED above the button lighting dimly). The button will remain active as long as water is sensed. If water is not sensed for more than 2 seconds continuously, the “Jets” icon button will become inactive, the LED above the button will go out, and the pump will turn off.
PUMP CONTROL
When the “Jets” icon button is active (indicated by the LED above the button lighting dimly) pressing and releasing the button will turn on the pump and start a 20-minute run timer. The operating pump will be indicated by a full-bright LED. Pressing and releasing the button a second time during the 20 minute run time will turn off the pump and cancel the timer.
LIGHT CONTROL
Pressing the “Light” icon button will start the colored LED light(s) in color changing mode. When the light(s) are functioning, the LEDs over the “Light” icon, “+”, and “-“ buttons will illuminate full-bright. Pressing either “+” or “-“ button will change the light(s) from color changing mode to color hold mode in the color present when the button was pressed. Subsequent pressings of the “+” or “–“ button will step the color forward or backward in the color sequence. Pressing both “+” and “–“ buttons simultaneously will return the light(s) to the color changing mode. Pressing the “Light” icon button will turn the light(s) off and the LED over the “Light” icon button will return to dimly lit, and the LEDs over the “+” and “-“ buttons will be off. The light(s) will come back on in the color displayed when it was turned off.
